Awards Eligiblity 2022

I’ve had three works out this year! All short fiction but covering a range of genres and lengths.

  • Tastes Like Home (5800 words | fantasy, YA | Andromeda Spaceways Magazine Issue #86 March 2022) – A fantasy coming of age story filled with monsters, dreams, pink elephants and tackling intergenerational trauma.

  • Concerning the Upstairs Bathroom (2200 words | horror | Nightmare Magazine Issue #120 September 2022) – A nasty epistolary story about home ownership, guilt, cowardice, and demons. CW: animal abuse.

  • As the Gentle Rain (1800 words | fantasy | Etherea Magazine Issue #15 October 2022) – A surreal contemporary fantasy featuring tiny tentacle creatures, a bit of blood and caring even when no one else seems to think it’s important.

I’d love to be considered for your ballots or clicks wherever you’re voting!

I have not previously been nominated or won any awards, so I may be eligible for new writer categories as well.

If you’re looking for more suggestions for your awards reading you can check out Cat Rambo and A.C. Wise’s lists.
